Born Dress/RED PLANET
Description
A one-of-a-kind dress made from upcycled leftover fabric from old clothes and costumes.
The design is inspired by the chemise, an undergarment that has been familiar in the West since the Middle Ages.
The lace-up detailing on the front is knitted to follow the contours of the ribs and spine.
The tops are made from various vintage clothing such as uniforms and shirts.
Each skirt is tailored with a different combination of materials, strings, and even tying methods.
This dress has a thick shoulder silhouette with shoulder pads and a skirt that flares out towards the hem, making it a stylish piece.
