AMNI designer Fuka, who has been enchanted by picture books since childhood, created this special work as a “first greeting” to the world.
This debut volume contains “The Day Moongauss Was Born” and an exclusive bonus comic.
No text accompanies the main story—by design. Instead, the illustrations invite you to feel and imagine the tale through the landscapes and emotions woven into each page.

The special comic introduces characters inspired by friends who joined our Christmas event, “Moongauss and the Christmas Night” (December 17, 2022).
Appearing in the story are singer Kiwako Ajimine, flower designer Ayumi “Kinpouge” Yamada, and fashion designer Haruno Tamura—each brought to life with unique character designs that reflect their artistry.
This is the beginning of an ongoing series, where Moongauss and the community around AMNI will continue to be illustrated through future projects.
