Born Dress / RED PLANET
Description
A one-of-a-kind dress upcycled from leftover fabric of vintage clothing and costumes.
Inspired by the chemise, an undergarment familiar in the West since the Middle Ages.
The lace-up detail on the front is woven to trace the ribs and spine.
The top part uses various vintage clothes such as uniforms and shirts,
and each combination of skirt material, strings, and tying method is uniquely tailored.
The thick shoulder silhouette with shoulder pads and the skirt flaring toward the hem create a flattering style.
